Honor 9 Lite with 5.65-inch FHD+ Full Screen Display and Quad Cameras Launched in China

Huawei’s sub-brand, Honor, has launched a new mid-range smartphone in China. It’s calling it the Honor 9 Lite and is a toned down version of the company’s flagship smartphone. Naturally, the Honor 9 Lite will retail at a markedly lower price point and would end up locking heads with the Chinese OEM’s other offering like the Honor 7X, Honor 9i among others.

The Honor 9 Lite carries forward the typical glass-over-metal design of its bigger brother. Despite its lower price point, it edges out its costlier sibling when it comes to the display. The mid-ranger apparently features a Full Screen 18:9 display, which results in much smaller bezels on the forehead and chin.

Under the hood, the Honor 9 Lite is powered by a Hi-Silicon Kirin 659 octa-core processor. This is the same processor powering some of Honor and Huawei’s latest offerings, which includes the Mate 10 Lite, Nova 2i and Honor 7X. One of the main highlighting factors of the Honor 9 Lite is its quad camera setup. Moreover, the hardware is backed by a power-packed camera app which includes various modes like 3D Beauty, Bokeh Effect Photography, Voice Camera and more.
