LG is launching new 2017 K-series smartphones on February 22 in India

All eyes are set on LG to launch the G6 at the Mobile World Congress 2017 next week. Meanwhile, LG is planning to bring its 2017 K-series smartphones in India on February 22 as per the invites sent out. The new LG 2017 K-series made its debut just before the CES 2017.

The new LG line of 2017 K-series smartphones includes the new K3, K4, K8, and K10. Out of these four handsets, the K3 and K4 fall in the budget segment, and both run Android 6.0 Marshmallow. On the other hand, the K8 and K10 run Android 7.0 Nougat with LG UI on top of it.

Out of these four devices, K10 is the top of the line-up. It sports a 5.3-inch HD In-cell Touch display constructed using 2.5D Arc Glass. LG has given it a metallic U-frame, and it measures 7.9mm thick. There’s a fingerprint sensor at the back. The highlight of this handset is the 120-degree wide-angle lens to click selfies.

Last year, LG introduced the K7 LTE and K10 LTE budget friendly smartphones for the Indian consumers. However, those phones got overshadowed by other contenders with better value for money. LG’s 2017 K-series smartphone will be launched by Ravi Shankar Prasad, Minister of Law & Justice and Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India.
