Samsung Galaxy S9 is about to be launched in 3-4 months, and therefore the curiosity about its price is worth understanding. Since smartphones have started costing a fortune, it helps to have an idea of the price in advance so that we can save for the flagship smartphone of your choice. So here we’re going to take a look at the expected pricing of Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus in UK and Europe. Let’s get started:
Samsung Galaxy S9 Price in UK and Europe
We talked about the US price of Samsung Galaxy S9 in our other post. In that post, we explained how and why Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus may cost more than $850 and $950 respectively. Taking those prices into consideration, it’s very likely for Samsung Galaxy S9 to be priced around £800 in UK and in €899 Europe. Galaxy S9 Plus, on the other hand, is likely to cost 100 bucks more and cost €999 in Europe and £900 in UK. It’s more than the direct conversion of $850 and $950 US price tags, but that’s the way how smartphone pricing in UK and Europe works. Taxes, distribution costs, and many other factors make the smartphones slightly more expensive in UK and Europe.
These prices also make sense considering the prices of Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus in UK and Europe at the time of their launch – S8 was launched for €799, while S8 Plus was launched for €899.

Samsung Galaxy S9 Release Date in UK and Europe
Since Samsung follows a global launch schedule for its Galaxy S and Galaxy Note lines, we can expect the S9 and S9 Plus to be available in both UK and Europe as soon as they’re launched in the US. And since the company is planning a launch earlier than its usual launch schedule in February, we can expect Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus to be launched sometime between 3rd week of January to last week of February. Exact launch date is not known as of now, and we’ll update this post when it comes out.
